BHR stands for Basic Human Rights which is a UK based International NGO registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales under the registry number 1133308

When was the organisation established? 

BHR was providing support to a number of other major international relief and development organisation prior to its formal registration in 2009.

Why was BHR established ?

In order to ensure that the most vulnerable segments of society that are Women and Children have easy access to their basic rights which are; basic health care, education, food, clean drinking water, improved sanitation and protection. Also to ensure that they have access to justice regardless of their race religion cast and creed. 

How does BHR Operate?

It works in partnership with communities and in close coordination with the UN agencies, institutional donors, international and national organisations and the host governments.

Who supports the organisation?

Our projects are supported through community fundraising, corporate donors and institutional donors
