Geographical Focus: |
| According to
the mandate of the organization wherever
there is a major disaster BHR will respond
to the needs of the affected people. However
for the interventions related to Human
Rights and Sustainable Development the
organization’s current focus is on Pakistan,
Palestine and the UK at the moment, which
will be expanded to other countries where
the need exists |

Working Approach: |
| Basic Human
Rights working approach is coordination at
all levels with other stakeholders to ensure
effectiveness and avoid duplication.
Involvement of the communities its working
with at all level and initiatives that will
contribute to the millennium development
goals and to the development plans of the
focused countries. |

Partnerships: |
| The
organization has responded to the IDPs
crisis in Pakistan in 2009 in partnership
with UNHCR and Islamic Relief UK. The
organization also focused on the
humanitarian crisis in Palestinian
territory. Awareness and funds were raised
through organizing campaigns in the UK. |

Code of Conduct: |
| BHR is in the
process of signing the International Code of
Conduct to ensure its operations worldwide
are implemented within the codes and set
standards. |

Contribution to the
MDGs: |
Activities of
the BHR are ultimately contributing to the
Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by
the UN and major countries.
